Founded in 2013, Vertex Soccer was initially established to assist released academy players from the UK, to the USA, on soccer scholarships.
Eleven years later, we have grown into a global soccer network and community that has been brought together through our Scholarships, Tours and Professional Development services.
Our mission is to connect the world of football development through:
OPPORTUNITY • EXPERIENCE • EDUCATION.
Vertex Soccer Scholarships has placed over 600 released academy players at the very best university soccer programs in the USA.
All our players are acquired through our unique network of partnerships with professional clubs across the UK and Europe.
Many of our players have gone on to sign professional MLS contracts, with all others being equally as successful in other professions, such as: property development, investment banking and engineering - opportunities which became available through the degree the players had studied on their scholarship.
After many enquiries from NCAA D1 soccer programs and MLS academies, Vertex Soccer Tours was founded.
Through our network of partnerships, we are able to offer and deliver the most professional and exclusive soccer tours to the UK and Europe for elite academy and university soccer teams in the USA.
Our tours are always tailored to the travelling team’s needs and are designed to give the players and coaches an experience to encourage individual and collective development.
Following many conversations with US coaches who wished to obtain further coaching education and gain access into the academies with whom we are partnered, we made steps to provide our Vertex Soccer Professional Development events.
Our first event was held over two-days at Birmingham City and Wolverhampton Wanderers training grounds with around 30 NCAA D1 coaches flying over for the event.
Our vision is to now host these events in the USA and open up to coaches and other soccer professionals of all levels who wish to learn from, and network with, some of the most highly regarded figures in the world of football development.
