Sporting Kansas City Academy defender Luca Antongirolami has been selected to represent the United States Under-16 Boys' National Team at the 2026 Vertex Cup in Miami. The talented center-back is one of eight defenders chosen for the 24-player squad, which will compete against England, Mexico, and Argentina in one of the premier international youth football tournaments.

The Kansas City native recently captained the club's Under-16 side at the 2026 Generation adidas Cup and has consistently represented the United States across multiple youth national team camps and international fixtures.
His rapid progression has also seen him compete above his age group with Sporting KC's Under-18 team while making his professional debut for Sporting Kansas City II in MLS NEXT Pro, demonstrating his ability to perform at increasingly competitive levels.
